Super Caricature To The Rescue...

The fine folks over at Business Beware needed something a bit different from my normal Iconize Me service and requested a full superhero motif! It's great fun to see all the creative ways people are using their custom caricatures!

Iconize Me at Macworld Expo...8 years ago

This is a blast from the past, but I just came across an old VHS tape of the satellite feed of Steve Jobs' keynote from the 2002 Macworld Expo. Why would I have that? Because for a brief (very brief) moment you could see some Iconize Me caricatures in the background! 

Steve was demoing a few features of the new Mail application and while searching for "Switch", he happens upon a message which includes pictures I illustrated of the people featured in Apple's then-running Switchers campaign. It's been rumored that Jobs' keynotes are scripted down to the very last detail, so I like to believe that him clicking on that specific message was no mistake! 

About.Me? Iconize Me!

About.Me is a new website (just today purchased by Aol), which allows you to create a custom public profile landing page. Part of the concept of this read-only site is the ability to customize your simple page with a portrait of yourself. Connor Hood (who was smart enough to get the username Conner before anyone else), has opted to use his brand new Iconize Me digital caricature for his About.Me profile! It's a perfect fit!

'Tis The Season...For Quick Turnarounds

Things can get really busy for everyone around this time of year...us included! But we know how important timing can be if you're ordering a gift online for someone. So here's the deal: if you place your Iconize Me Digital Caricature order by Sunday, December 12th, we'll make sure to complete and send your order to you no later than Monday, December 20th. This is a much quicker turn-around than our typical 2-4 week delivery window, so hopefully it'll relieve a little bit of that holiday pressure from your schedule. 

Now, since this can wreak havoc with our individual work loads, we're going to have to limit orders to two caricatures per customer. Unfortunately if you place your order after the 12th, we cannot promise it'll get to you before Christmas on December 25th...but we'll promise to try.
