After graduating from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in 1990, José M. Ramos worked tiredlessly as a designer and Art director in such companies as Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising and Avanti, Inc.. In 1995 he started "JAB Design & Illustration", which specializes in character develoment, 3D illustration and children's book illustration. Being born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and having lived and trained in Florida, José has brought to his work an exquisite blend of both worlds, which can be perceived in his use of color and texture. His latest endeavor, working with Paul and Shalimar at Iconize Me, has given him the unique oportunity to do what he loves, with complete creative freedom. His hobbies include; sculpture, painting, 3D animation, playing basketball and watching a good Laker's game with his four year old son, while eating a bowl of fruit loops with milk.
