Shalimar Luis, a native to New Jersey, has
been making art since as far back as she can remember. After
graduating High School in 2003, she was accepted to the School
of Visual Arts whre she is currently pursuing a Bachelor of
Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design. It is here where she met
Paul Sahner and was hired to help with Iconize Me! Despite
being a design major, Shalimar hasn't forgotten her fine art
roots, and still loves to paint and draw.
Over the years, Shalimar has been honored with
several awards, including the Congressional Art Competition
in 2003.
